Having a large publisher for my magazine would mean that it would be in retailers such as WHSmiths and would get a wider audience whereas with a less known publisher, I would have a bigger imput and more money.
I think my music magazine is similar to NME and Q in terms of music but for who my magazine is aimed for it is a bit similar to Bliss and Sugar. My magazine includes music and fashion so my magazine would be very similar to Fashion Music Style.
With a bigger publisher, my music magazine would have a website for readers to find out more on artists and find great clothes. I would also like for my magazine to be involved with sponsering awards ceremonies, probably just sponsoring an award for a specific category that involves females i.e Female Breakthrough Artist and similar awards. I would have tie-ins with leading make-up and hair brands to attract my target audience. My magazine could have a tie-in with a leading music company so the magazine would exclusives songs from the latest female indie artists.
